The Problem:
Our client needed a website to provide online bookings for all their clients. The business was designed only to allow online payment, and so it was even more critical for it to be a well-functioning site for user experience and interface. This business was extremely new; they had not set up their logistics or system workflow. There was no branding whatsoever.
Initially, the owner wanted a platform that would enable him to easily manage the site himself if needed. This led us to choose Wix as the CMS platform. From there, we did a full overview of what the client might need to get their online business up and running.
The Process:
For a project of this scale, we needed to break things down into short-term and mid-term goals. Once that was complete, we could begin to even begin consider long-term goals. We started with the name, which needed to be something that would grab the attention of possible visitors while ensuring it would communicate the services intended. Hence, the owner created the name "Crystal Bay Boat Excursions," which is planned ot be a sister company of "Crystal Bay Exuma," if there is any desire for expansion.
As the services provided were private boating and fishing charters in Exuma, Bahamas, there was a sense of exclusivity and luxury. The business itself naturally has very high overhead costs with a very specific service location. This has most certainly presented its problems. The target audience was chosen to be of a very high-income group. We used the royal blue and gold to communicate the high-value services provided and the promise that we try to provide a service fit for royalty to our clients.
After designing the logo for the brand that emulates sailing and the waves of the Caribbean Sea. We then moved forward with designing the website. All images were procured to ensure the branding was clear and intentional. We ensured the sitemap showed the necessary pages for the business to operate at full capacity, both functionally and legally.
Once the site was designed, with all the content based on keyword research and other SEO best practices, we moved on to creating the necessary social media accounts to ensure we have the proper networking for the service.
A part of the campaign included printed materials as well as creating assets for Google Ads Campaigns and blogs.
The Results:
This was a lengthy project; however, it proved fruitful as clients were able to fully make their bookings online without any need for human intervention. A completely seamless workflow on the front-end. The branding continues to steadily grow, as well as constant updates being made for keyword ranking and SEO optimization.
