The Problem:
Accelux reached out to have our team come up with a design that would give the impression that the clients would be energized and fully fueled to stay focused during high mental tasks. It was very important that the brand was not focused on athletes, as it had not been designed or manufactured for high physical activity. It boasts lower sugars than the traditional soda while still maintaining a great taste and providing clarity for a "foggy brain."
The Process:
After deliberating, we felt that the brand's name was a perfect fit for the younger target audience. Specifically, the college student and the professional gamer. We approached the design in a way that would easily blend with the aesthetic themes of the gaming industry. The Acceluc brand needed to be simple yet "techy," while the slant, straight, segmented, and sharp designs aided a sense of increase in speed and growth.
The Results:
The marketing team was pleased with our overall design approach and rationale, as it seemed to have tested well with target groups. In particular, it tested well in attracting interest at event booths, as most drinks had primarily vibrant colors; however, the primary white let it stand out among the other products on shelves. Some testers even pointed out that the product was appealing to their gaming environment. Of course, the taste was good; however, that was not our jurisdiction.
